Connecting my GoPro Hero 9 to my phone for streaming

I wished it were more straightforward, but alas the interlinking of different tech and platforms is always challenging. I spent several hours trying to figure out how to consistently connect my GoPro Hero 9 to my phone's hotspot.

Basically, my goal was to use my phone as a connection for my GoPro so I could livestream on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/electricbikeadventures) while riding!

I know there are great solutions out there but all cost upwards of $1000 when all is said and done. Eventually I'll get there I'm sure. It's a slow burn kind of thing.

But for now, I'm trying to get by on cell phone and GoPro.
